About Nicole
Nicole has loved architecture from a young age—drawn both to the creativity of art and the structure of math. She quickly realized that architecture was a perfect fit, a career that balances imagination with precision.
She moved to Colorado from California in 2005 to study Environmental Design, and never looked back—there’s truly no place she’d rather call home. Nicole earned her Master of Architecture from CU Denver in 2011 and has spent the past decade growing both her family and her career. During this time, she honed her skills under Jeff VanSambeek at Lodesone Design Group, gaining deep experience in residential design and learning to guide projects seamlessly from initial concept through permit approval.
While Nicole has experience in many types of design, her true passion is single-family residential architecture. Homes are where life happens, and she believes every space should work beautifully for the people who live in it. Additions and renovations are especially rewarding, transforming underused spaces into custom solutions tailored to a family’s lifestyle. Following the devastating Marshall Fire in Louisville, Nicole found it profoundly meaningful to be part of the recovery effort, helping homeowners rebuild and reimagine their spaces. She loves collaborating with homeowners, listening to their visions, and translating those ideas into thoughtful, livable designs.
When she’s not designing, Nicole can be found exploring Colorado with her husband of 16 years and their three children—hiking, skiing, swimming, or adventuring in their pop-up camper. At home, she enjoys gardening, cooking for friends and family, and soaking up the simple joys of Colorado life.
